Amanda relies on workouts to keep her balanced during busy, demanding weeks. As head of marketing for a growing startup, she knows firsthand how critical is it to stay active and carve out time for health and fitness. On the hunt for a challenging, fun workout, Amanda signed up for a SPX class and has been hooked ever since. Having been a longtime client, she’s looking forward to embarking on a new adventure as an instructor and helping people achieve their fitness goals … while having some fun along the way!

After graduating from UCLA and leaving the world of college athletics behind for a job in corporate law, Andrea was looking for a workout that could maintain her conditioning, without spending hours in the gym. SPX is the only workout she’s found that is able to simultaneously and efficiently target cardio and strength.
When not teaching or taking class at Core Studio, you can find Andrea spending time with her family and dog, at the movies or trying new restaurants around Palo Alto.

Brianna first fell in love with Core Studio back in Sept 2014, and she has attended nearly 400 classes ever since! Core Studio changed her lifestyle drastically for the better, and she’s excited for this opportunity to help others in reaching their fitness goals.
Outside of Core Studio, you will likely find Brianna training for her half marathon, trying new nutritious recipes, walking her labradoodle, Chewie, experimenting with a barre or yoga class, or cheering on Stanford Football as a proud alum & season ticket holder. Professionally, Brianna works in talent at a Silicon Valley venture capital firm, helping entrepreneurs in building their start-ups.
Thanks to bumping into Esther one fortuitous night at Lululemon, she’s also obsessed with researching athletic clothing now — so if you ever want to geek out on technical fabrics to improve your workout experience, she is your gal.

Carly discovered SPX while living in Los Angeles two years ago and was hooked on the challenge. When she moved back to the Bay Area, she was thrilled to find Core Studio. She loves the combination ofstrength, cardio, and endurance found in each 50 minute class. Carly has always loved staying active, but when she found SPX, she noticed a dramatic increase in her strength and flexibility.
Carly’s other passion is her job as a Pre-K teacher – she is able to stay fit just by keeping up with her 4 year old students! When she is not teaching or in the studio, you can find her hiking or doing almost anything else that keeps her outdoors. Carly is very excited to use Lagree fitness to motivate the Core Studio community to reach their fitness goals.

Working as a healthcare consultant, Caryl is highly aware of how important being active is to overall health. She likes to mix up her fitness by hiking, training for a 10K, spinning, weight lifting, and taking yoga and pilates. Caryl discovered SPX at the beginning of 2015 and has been addicted to the full-body workout ever since.

Cissy discovered the Lagree method while recovering from a second ACL knee surgery in 2014. The low impact and strength building nature of the workout was key to her recovery and she has been hooked ever since!
Originally from the east coast, Cissy first moved to San Francisco 8 years ago. She has lived and traveled all over the world – Africa, Asia and Europe – in her previous career in international development. When she is not taking or teaching Lagree classes, she is working at Google.

It was love at first shake for Dani when she took her first SPX class in 2011 in San Diego. Since then, she has taken hundreds of SPX classes in many different cities. As a health law attorney, with a deep passion for achieving optimal health and wellness, Dani strives to constantly challenge herself through meditation, yoga, SPX, and other forms of mental and physical conditioning. She is excited to share her love of Lagree Fitness with you and hopes to challenge, support, and motivate you along your journey to optimal wellness.

As a self proclaimed group fitness junkie, Ellen had tried every type of exercise class in an attempt to find something to complement her distance running. She had heard great things about Core Studio and was hooked after just one class. She loves that you can get a complete work out while continuing to challenge your body in such a short amount of time. Ellen jumped at the chance to get her Lagree certification and can’t wait to share her passion for the work out with others.
When not teaching Lagree, you can find Ellen working in the Silicon Valley as a Product Manager for a global telecommunications company. She lives in San Francisco and enjoys exploring new neighborhoods, attending music shows and eating at all the great restaurants the city has to offer. She’s excited to meet other health minded people and help people achieve their fitness goals with Lagree.

Hsin-Hsin has been an avid fan of SPX ever since 2008. Working a demanding corporate job, Hsin-Hsin searched high and low for a workout that was effective, time-efficient and could work her out both mentally and physically. Due to her spine and joint issues, Hsin-Hsin was forced to seek out low impact sports, and after her doctor recommended SPX, Hsin-Hsin tried her first class and was hooked!
As a new mom, Hsin-Hsin finds SPX’s complement of strength training, cardio, and toning to be the perfect solution to her harried schedule and physical limitations. Hsin-Hsin is RealRyder and SPX certified.

Jennifer is an HR and Staffing professional who is passionate about health and fitness. She became a cycling instructor because she wants to share her passion and to help inspire others to reach their fitness goals! Jennifer has been an indoor and outdoor cyclist for many years. She first discovered indoor cycling about 5 years ago and now believes it is one of the best cardio workouts that she have ever experienced.
Once Jennifer tried cycling, she was instantly hooked! One of her favorite things about it is “being the DJ” and selecting her style of music for her classes. Jennifer has stated, “It’s really is an art form, matching a song to the moves/choreography and leading my students through a challenging ride with me.” Jennifer resides in San Jose with her Fiancé and daughter Stephanie, who is also a personal trainer/coach!

Julia first discovered her athletic abilities while attending UCLA when she went out on a limb and joined the school’s Dragonboat team. In an effort to cross train and keep in shape, she discovered her love for long distance running. Many half marathons and marathons later, injuries set in and forced Julia to discover indoor cycling as an alternative cardio workout, and she loved it! Julia works full time at a local pharmaceutical company and is currently in process of earning her MBA so she definitely knows how important it is to get a great workout in a limited amount of time! Get ready to let loose and get your sweat on during her rhythmic cycle rides!

Born and raised on the East Coast, Kate moved to the Bay Area in 2011 to pursue a career in anatomic pathology. She found Core Studio by chance, and four years later she joins our team of instructors! Passionate about her work in oncological drug research, Kate has devoted her education to degrees in both psychology and human biology. With full mind/body workouts like SPX and Cycle, she knows that both elements are crucial to the success of any physical journey.
When not satisfying her wanderlust, Kate can be found eating and drinking her way through the Valley, and spending time with her doggies Effie and Mica.

Kim is a Bay Area native and enjoys spending her weekends visiting Farmer’s Markets, cooking family meals and exploring the city with her dog, Tofu. She was introduced to the Lagree method by a coworker and was immediately impressed with the efficiency and effectiveness of the workout. She is excited to join the Core Studio team and share her excitement and passion for Lagree with others!

Over the years, Lauren has integrated fitness into her lifestyle. With a Bachelors of Science degree in Nutritional Science, emphasis in Sports Nutrition, she is a committed and passionate individual with aspirations to influence others to live and maintain a healthy way of life. Lauren has over 20 years of dance experience and cheered professionally for 3 years on the San Francisco 49ers’ Gold Rush Squad. Lauren is experienced with many forms of fitness and was always looking for a workout that created long, lean muscles. A friend raved about Core SPX classes so she had to try it herself. After just a few classes, she was hooked.
Lauren is elated to join the Core Studio team and it’s community. Her goal is to inspire and motivate others to reach their full potentials.

Lauren has been an avid group fitness advocate from a young age, starting with Jazzercise with her mom back in elementary school. Growing up with two parents with severe back pain, Lauren has always been mindful of choosing exercises that are safe, body-conscious and low impact. Fortunately, that hasn’t meant losing the challenge and burn – Core SPX has been a perfect blend of just that! After training in Los Angeles and Orange County for over 2 years with top Lagree trainers, Lauren is excited to bring her passion and expertise back to her hometown of Palo Alto.

You will likely find Marissa climbing a rock, hiking a trail, surfing half moon bay, practicing yoga or cruising a farmer’s markets. You will not find her on her couch as she believes the couch is to simply store and sort her gear.
After her studies, Marissa realized that as a resident of Silicon Valley, a career in Software Marketing made sense. While she maintains a full-time position as a Global Program Manager for a Software Marketing company, Marissa is not one to stop improving herself. She obtained her Yoga and Spin Certifications, and will soon be certified as a Large instructor.Less formally, she is a student of nutrition, fitness injury prevention and can even strum a few tunes on the Ukulele.

A serious cardio addict, (swimming, cycling, and running around the Bay Area), Maddie still wasn’t getting the muscle definition she wanted. She decided to change up her exercise routine to include more strength and less cardio. Never a fan of the gym, she took her first SPX class at Core Studio and it was love at first plank to pike, and Core SPX soon became an integral part of her exercise routine.
When not at the studio or teaching Spanish at a local high school, Maddie is probably reading, swimming, running, or practicing Pilates.

Melly comes to us originally as a client when she found us on Yelp! After her first SPX class she was immediately hooked and has been coming back ever since. Going to the gym has become a stale routine and she wanted a challenge to build her mind, body, and spirit. After interacting with other clients and instructors, she knew there was something special about Core Studio that other places couldn’t compare.
Graduated from San Jose State University in Public Relations, she currently works full-time as an Engineering Recruiter for a tech startup in San Francisco. Melly is excited to be joining the team and cannot wait to share her energy and enthusiasm with you all.

Michelle has loved sports and exercise ever since she could remember. She is a former Division 1 athlete and swam at Stanford University, specializing in backstroke, butterfly, and sprint freestyle. Still active in the swimming and athletic community, Michelle gives private swim lessons to people of all ages.
Michelle enjoys motivating and helping other achieve their fitness potential. She believes that with encouragement, the right playlist, and of course, a fun dynamic work out, anyone can reach their fitness goals! She loves how Core SPX and RealRyder balances strength training with aerobic conditioning. Michelle is certified in RealRyder and Core SPX.

After her first megaformer class, Nadia decided she didn’t want to come back because it was too hard. Alas, she had already purchased a class pack and came back anyway. A year later, she’s still here and now teaching.
Nadia grew up an active kid – doing mostly bodyweight exercises such as dancing and hiking. In her other adult life, she continued with more hiking/trekking, rock climbing and teaching/doing yoga, in addition to her full time job at a tech company. She felt herself plateauing in her physical progress and wanted to improve her strength. So she finally caved into doing traditional reformer pilates, before discovering the benefits of the Megaformer.
Don’t be fooled by Nadia’s quiet nature – she will still challenge you physically. Nadia aims to have her classes be engaging and mindful (her inner yoga instructor), but powerful and invigorating.

Rachel joined Core Studio in June 2015 off of a friend’s referral and has been hooked ever since! She loves the studio and especially the results she got from the SPX and Barre classes. Rafael has always been into sports, the outdoors and trail running. He discovered SPX over five years ago and noticed immediate results including greater stability on trail runs and reduced lower back issues. On weekends he can be found training for 10K & 30K trail runs or cruising around San Francisco in his cargo bike with his wife & daughters in tow.

Over the last 10 years, Shea has dedicated herself to spreading joy and inspiration through fitness and health. After graduating with a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island, Shea found her way to San Diego where she was a certified strength and conditioning specialist and cycle instructor. Shea recently pursued her passion for learning and completed a Doctorate in Chiropractic at Life Chiropractic West.
After years of running and heavy weight training, Shea discovered SPX in 2011. She fell in love with the fast past, specific muscle targeting workout! She is so excited to be a part of the Core Studio team and to share her joy and love for fitness with the community!

An avid sweat seeker – from marathons, Muay Thai, yoga, boxing, bootcamps, TRX, biking, hiking and obstacle races! Stacie was first introduced to Lagree fitness at the end of 2013 and was instantly hooked after seeing how only 50 minutes quickly transformed and strengthened her body (two weeks to oblique’s, true story)! Enthusiastic and passionate about Lagree, she decided to become certified to educate and help others reach their own fitness goals regardless of their current fitness level. “Good sweat sessions are not only necessary to help me reset and reboot after long hours in front of a computer, but I find it therapeutic to the mind and body.”
