Policies

Schedule and instructors.
Schedule and instructors are subject to change without notice.  We will do our best to notify you of any changes via your email on file so if you want to receive these notices make sure you opt-in on your account.

You must have a valid credit card on file.
To attend classes at Core Studio, you must have a valid credit card on file.  A valid credit card is required for purchases, auto-renewals, and/or fees.  If you fail to pay any fees or charges when due, your account may be suspended or terminated and you will not be allowed to take classes until your account is reactivated.

All purchases are non-refundable.
All purchases are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-shareable and non-transferable. No exceptions.

All classes must be prepaid.
You are responsible for choosing a class pack or pass that works with your schedule.  All classes must be prepaid and we do not offer extensions on any class packs/passes.

Monthly Passes: No commitment. All monthly passes start and automatically renew 30 days from date of purchase.  Classes expire each month (30 days from date of purchase), no rollovers. A valid credit card is required on file for auto-renewal. To cancel just send us a written cancellation notice at least 1 day prior to the renewal date.

6-Month Unlimited Passes: We offer a hold for 6-month memberships for $50 per hold. Hold period is a maximum of 1 month. Early termination fee is $200.

Class Packs: Class packs expire 6 months after date of purchase.

First-timers.
If you are new to Core Studio, you must arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your first class, so that there is ample time to be properly outfitted and introduced to the equipment.  This orientation on your first visit is paramount to the safety of all our members and to help ensure a good workout experience.  Even if you have done the same or similar workout elsewhere, this policy is strictly enforced for the safety of you and your fellow classmates and you may be turned away.

Arrive on time.
Classes start right on time.  Make sure you sign-in at the front desk prior to the start of class.  If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your spot may be given away to a waitlist or drop-in member and will be considered a late cancel.

Grip socks and proper cycle/sneakers are required.
Grip socks (no grip shoes/Vibrams allowed) are required for all Core SPX, Core 30/30 and Core Barre classes.  We sell grip socks at our studios or you are welcome to bring your own but they are required for safety and sanitation reasons and you will not be allowed to take class without them.

SPD cycle shoes or closed toed sneakers may be worn for all Core Cycle and Core 30/30 classes but SPD shoes are recommended for a better ride and experience.

Cancellation Policy.
In order to remove yourself from a class, you must cancel your reservation at least 12 hours prior to the class start time.

  • Login to Mindbody or use your Core Studio app
  • Go to “My Info”
  • Click “My Schedule”
  • Click “Cancel” next to the class time

All cancellations must be made online. Phone calls or emails are not an acceptable form of cancellation (the call or email may not be received before the start of class).

Fees for Members with Monthly Passes

  • Late Cancel Fee – $15 and lose class
  • No Show Fee – $25 and lose class

Fees for Members with Unlimited Passes

  • Late Cancel Fee – $15
  • No Show Fee – $25

Fees for Members with Class Packs

  • Late Cancel Fee – Lose Class
  • No Show Fee – Lose Class

There are no exceptions to our cancellation policy, but we do understand emergencies occur. The policy is in place to encourage members to make schedule changes in a timely manner and give their fellow classmates a chance to sign-up for class.  It also helps to motivate you to stick to your scheduled workout.

Private Sessions must be canceled at least 24 hours prior.  If you do not cancel in advance, you will lose your session.

Waitlist.

Waitlists are a great way to get into class.  If a class is full, add yourself to the waitlist and as spots open up in class, members are added to class in the order they put themselves on the waitlist.  Make sure you opt-in on your profile to receive email/text notifications.

NOTE: Just like class sign-ups, members are responsible for their waitlists since it is assumed that by being on a waitlist, you want to take the class.  You may be added to class from the waitlist up until 30 minutes hour before the class starts.  If you no longer want to take the class, you must early cancel the class or remove yourself from the waitlist at least 12 hours in advance of the class start time to avoid being charged any late cancellation fees.

How do I get on the waitlist?  Get on the waitlist by clicking “Sign Up Now!” from your desktop or “Add to Waitlist” from our Core Studio app.

How do I know if I’ve been added to class from the waitlist? When a spot becomes available, if you opted-in to receive notifications, you’ll receive an automated email or text letting you know you’ve been added to class and are now registered. If you didn’t receive an email/text, check your profile to see if you’ve been added.

Don’t want to add yourself to the waitlist? Members tend to cancel 1-2 hours before class starts, so check the schedule for openings as it gets closer to class time.

Switching classes on the same day.
Switching classes on the same day to an earlier class less than 12 hours before a class will not incur a fee. Switching classes on the same day to a later class less than 12 hours before class is still considered a “late cancel” and will result in a $15 fee and/or loss of that class. If you’ve held a spot in class, you’re making it unavailable to someone else.

Age requirements for group classes.
Core Studio’s age minimum for classes is 14 years old. We highly recommend taking a private lesson first, before taking any group classes. A waiver form signed by a parent is required.

Pet policy.
We love our furry friends but because many clients are allergic, we cannot allow any pets to be brought into the studio.

Any deviation from our policies should not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce our policies. Policies are subject to change without notice.
